Position Overview: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Background Extras for the popular TV show “Casualty” in Cardiff. This is a temporary position offering a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the entertainment industry and be part of a well-loved television series. No prior experience is required, but a passion for TV production and the ability to follow directions are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portray background characters in various scenes, adhering to the director’s instructions and production requirements.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
- Follow costume and makeup guidelines to ensure authenticity and consistency in the portrayal of characters.
- Be punctual and reliable, ensuring timely attendance for all scheduled call times.
- Work collaboratively with the production team and other extras to achieve the desired look and feel of each scene.
Qualifications:
- No prior acting experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility with working hours, as filming schedules may vary and include early mornings, late nights, or weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from the filming location in Cardiff.
- Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during filming.
- A commitment to professionalism and maintaining confidentiality about the project.
