Job Description:As a Customer Assistant at Tesco, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and make a difference to our customers’ lives.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers to the store and assist them in finding products or answering their questions.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and neatly organized.
• Ensure that the store is clean and tidy at all times, including cleaning spills and emptying bins.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves in the warehouse area.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential.
